Iowa Football Recruiting

I was talking to a Hawk fan coworker about Breece Hall, and he explained to me (with a straight face) that Iowa doesn’t bother recruiting talented running backs.

Well, that’s pretty obvious, isn’t it?

Iowa has been exceedingly fortunate to be in a conference in West taht is like BIg 12 north of old but more so to have had 2 coaches in like 40 years...The odds are highly stacked against them soon. KF won’t be the HC at Iowa in 5 years...neither will Barta. Iowa has yet to have a bad hire fball wise in 40 years and that is nearly unheard of. Heck OU and Ohio state have made bad hires.. Iowa is due. Whether it be BF as the next coach or whoever i guarantee you it is not going to work out well.. Iowa has a cake schedule this year that is completely laughable, and before u Iowa fans say well “last year schedule”, hey congrats for once in 5 years you had a real schedule.

No really that schedule this year might end up being one of the worst P5 schedules.

Not to take sides, but didn’t Chris Williams retracted an article about a commitment a few weeks back. The recruit committed but wanted to make the public announcement himself. Out of respect Chris made the article disappeared. This very well could be the same situation. Anyways carry on.

If you're talking about Goodson then yes that's similar. The recruits often fill in reporters before doing their official, public announcements. Such as Hogan who the Rivals premium boards reported would be an Iowa commit about a week ago.

Same goes for the whole Goodson/Brock/Hall situation where Iowa took a Goodson commitment, canceled Brock's visit, and told Hall they were full. They would've taken any of the three, it's just a matter of the dominoes falling after one was willing to commit. All 3 look talented, IMO.

Here's some premium info for YeahBuddy.... I don't give a f**k what BS you post on here, or what Iowa is doing in recruiting. The fact you even post over here is such a sad statement about you. I would never post on any Iowa site, or even visit one. I'm not obsessed about Iowa like you are about ISU. Get a life dude.

You care so little about what I post and Iowa recruiting you decided to stop by and tell us all about it.

I’ve already acknowledged Hall is a good get for ISU.

Goodson has been a silent verbal to Iowa for about 2 weeks. The timeline doesn’t add up if you are saying the Iowa coaches tried pressuring Brock to commit last week before cancelling his OV.

You literally said the whole time Brock and Goodson were both takes so this logic is flawed. I trust a national 247 guy over Tom Kakert and you're dumb if you don't
