Iowa Football Recruiting

You've caught yourself in your own lies. Or you don't understand the difference between fact and speculation.

If he gave his words to the coaches, and they can't comment, how did it "slip out?" This means you are either lying, or one of the coaches has violated recruiting rules.

What you are saying is speculation, no different than the speculation he will sign with Wake Forest.

You could still provide a link....

The speculation he is going to WF is coming from another HS kid.

Confirmation that Iowa has him in the bag is coming from a guy that works for Rivals and has an impeccable track record when it comes to this stuff.

You are really making yourself look dumb and kind of petty in all of this. Iowa got a commitment from Goodson and told Hall and Brock they were full. It’s not that hard to understand.

This is indeed true-deal with it.
Well, also comes from a source with a great track record that Iowa tried to pressure commit Jirehl Brock before taking Goodson.

See how silly it is to worry about what did/didn't really happen?

Looks to me like ISU and Iowa both got good RB recruits-deal with it.

I’ve already acknowledged Hall is a good get for ISU.

Goodson has been a silent verbal to Iowa for about 2 weeks. The timeline doesn’t add up if you are saying the Iowa coaches tried pressuring Brock to commit last week before cancelling his OV.

You don’t understand the difference between facts (must be verifiable!) and speculation. This shouldn’t be difficult to understand. If you can’t confirm (verify) something, it is not a fact. It is that simple. This applies to everything in the physical universe, not just football recruiting...

When something confirms Goodson has committed to Iowa, at that time it becomes a fact. Not before. So unless you can verify he has committed to Iowa, it is speculation. Let me guess... you can’t confirm or verify.

That's no different than the timeline of Hall "calling" the Iowa coaches.

He has been an Iowa State, Tennessee & Nebraska lean for weeks. Nebraska filled up awhile ago so it was down to ISU/Tennessee.

Doesn't add up for him to randomly call the Iowa coaches when he hadn't had a visit planned there for quite some time.

I have been able to confirm and verify that Goodson will be publicly committing to Iowa on Tuesday. It’s called premium info.

That’s fine, I’m OK with agreeing to disagree.

Both schools should be happy with the RB’s they are getting verbals from.

Well then it will become a fact on Tuesday.

Let’s try this another way...I’m not saying that it is fact that he hasn’t committed to Iowa. He very well may have, by no means am I saying he hasn’t. A claim saying he hasn’t committed is also speculation.

For now it is speculation, not a fact. You or your source could be mislead or mistaken.

So my claim that is backed by sources is speculation but your claim backed by nothing is fact? That seems off.

The only "fact" here is you are claiming he has committed. We can prove that. I haven't made any claims other than what you are claiming to be fact, is in fact speculation.

Since you or no one else can provide EVIDENCE, it is not a fact. No where have I posted, claimed, or otherwise even inferred he hasn't. I'm just saying however likely it may be that he has, you cannot prove it is a fact.

Dude, you don't understand what the difference between fact and speculation.

"a question of fact hinges on evidence"

There is evidence he is publicly committing to Iowa on Tuesday. You just don’t have the ability to read it.

That's like saying,"I have a million dollars, I won't show my bank statement to you but I swear do. I swear it!"

Are you really going to believe I have a million dollars just because I say that I do?

Why the hell are you guys still arguing about this? I guess you can say technically isn’t committed as it isn’t public knowledge yet but insiders know that it’s a commit, they just can’t announce it yet.

Halsted does this all the time with tipping recruits silent commitments. It’s part of the intrigue of joining a pay site.

It’s like you’re arguing just to argue.

On Tuesday, will you be able to show me the $$$?

@herbicide, this guy gets it. Try and be more like him.
