But there are 3 TE’s between the first and 2nd teams in the Big 12. To get to 3 All-Conference players in all other P5 leagues you have to go to the 3rd team.

Allen would have been 2nd team and the other guy would have been 3rd team. You guys are so upset about this, it's weird. Both Fant and Allen are good players it's just Allen was the only TE in the state that was first or second team all conference
Big 12 had 13 offensive players on the first team and 15 offensive players on the second team. They also had 4 WRs and Two TEs on the second team. I wonder what kind of offensive set that would look like.

It's funny that doesn't get mentioned by Hawkeye fans when it comes to how many players get drafted every year from the Big 12
How do you know Allen would be 2nd team they list players in school alphabetical order? At least that’s what the B12 release stated.

He tied for 2nd team all conference with Ben Johnson but he won the tiebreaker because he was a better blocker and was on a better team. This is coming from my buddy at the Big 12 offices
