Iowa Football Recruiting

Melvin Gordon 2.0

With Campbell wanting to get ISU's football program to Iowa's level, this is another good thing for him to strive for. With Eno this makes two 4* RBs that KF has said "thanks but no thanks" to in just the past few years. Maybe Campbell will get there.

Just like he said thanks but no thanks to Gordon lol

Iowa State would definitely miss a bowl game if they played in the B1G. Fortunately for them, they play in one of the worst P5 conferences (might be better than the ACC), so they should be able to get to 6 or 7 wins. Think that’s a 5 win team based on talent, though.

You realize Iowa's schedule is significantly easier than ISU's this year right?

Not in the B1G West. And hell, the B1G has about 15 bowl tie-ins.

The B1G West is a frickin' joke. Iowa's schedule most years doesn't even include the best teams in the conference, which are all on the East side.

The B1G West is essentially .500 against the East since they started playing. The East has tOSU and that's the main difference.

Think it’s any coincidence that once they went to 9 vs 8 conference games that the east is winning the split more consistently?
