What does getting him on campus do for Iowa's chances? Nothing IMO. Iowa's campus sucks.
I remember during the 2016-17 season when Iowa lost at Minnesota in double overtime and then 3 days later lost at Michigan State (by only 11 points). The Hok media machine was claiming how much of a detrimental impact the 2 OT road game had on the team & that is why they lost to MSU. All that derpth (they played 12 guys with 9 guys getting significant minutes in the OT game), yet some from the Hok propaganda machine claimed that their guys were too tired to pull out a victory 3 days later. So, the only sure result of extending the game 10 minutes is more Hok excuses for losses.
You laugh at them but admit it, there is almost no fall off from the starting 5 to the next 5. Real balance like you don't see in many programs.
Dochterman or anyone else is crazy if they think ConMac is only playing 15 minutes. Barring injury or ejections, he will average 30.
Fran is doing everything possible to make sure Connor gets his minutes. That's not going to stop during the season
Fran rarely plays more than one guy 30 minutes a game. I think there were some seasons not one player averaged 30 minutes a game.
