Just saying I would not throw a kid for a first offense. I don't know your age but if you grew up in 70s and 80s there was no stigma (mostly none) with drinking and driving and fines were small for it if you did get caught.

I said I was surprised he didn't have to miss a game and Iowa fans agreed with me. Weird thing to take a stance against
Oh man he didn't get to travel to a game which he couldn't play in anyways because of an injury. What a harsh punishment!
By this logic, anybody that is a bench warmer can't really be punished by being suspended for a game or a redshirt freshman for that matter.

You realize ISU was the only program in the state to have a TE make first or second team all conference right?

Fant's a 1st team All-American. DM I think is 4th team, no?
Actually DM was 1st team AA and 1st team All Conference. Fant was 3rd team all conference. Chase Allen was 2nd team All Conference
Fant's a 1st team AA heading into this season. Montgomery I think is 4th, can't remember for sure. For TEs you have to have at least 5 catches to your name to be considered, so that ruled Allen out.
Oh preseason, that makes more sense. Yeah Welsh was a preseason AA going into last season and didn't even get 1st team all conference by the coaches.
Like I said there was only one TE in the state last year that got first or second team all conference and he resides in Ames
