So, is there a board where the ISU graduates post, because, like, they may know the definition of words like facts.

So ummm, look. To listen refers to paying attention, taking heed, to take notice, or take advice from. It does not only refer to the spoken word.

Fair enough. We are on record then that the only thing that really matters is where teams are in the AP poll. Head to head means nothing.
Sorry, swing and a miss. I have a 15 year posting history on HR, mainly on the off topic board. FWIW, sagarin is no more valid than AP, CBS sports, coaches, or any other poll. They are opinions. My only point was that polls based on opinions do not equal fact. Apparently, none of the engineering grads from ISU make it to this board.

Well, he did say ISU is Iowa’s biggest rival.I don't put much stock into a head to head when you guys treat it like it's the only game on the schedule that matters

We get it, you don't think it's a fact Alabama was better than ISU last year. It's weird and dumb but we get your point
Merriam has 3 definitions, all associated with hearing and sound. You’re surety is wrong.Keep looking. There’s more definitions there. I’m sure of it.

So I asked for facts. The same record. By any measure Iowa had a tougher schedule. Iowa had the head to head. I don’t see much objectively that points to ISU being better. Maybe you think they are better, but that’s your opinion. You said it was a fact.
Good thing this is his once a year posting.I'd agree with you just to end your nonsense but there's no point of us both being wrong

Pay heed doesn’t need to be capitalized. We can agree you don’t understand what a fact is, vs an opinion. We can agree that you’re trolling. And with that, I’m done on the subject because none of you will PAY HEED to what I say anyway.
Edit to add, not necessarily done for the year on all subjects. I have decided to stay awhile and play.

Agreed with you on polls...glorified popularity contests or outright guesses. Recruiting rankings are much the same...opinions that are point in time guesses.Sorry, swing and a miss. In most cases I can see a +/- of about 3 in polls once the season is going or over. I don’t think it’s outright guessing at all. There may be occasional favoritism by a pollster but in the end I think most polls are about right.Agreed with you on polls...glorified popularity contests or outright guesses. I do agree with you on once the season starts, but before it starts it seems like it is the annual Texa$ butt kissing, followed by the inevitable plunge out of the rankings. The Golden Domers were similar, but have actually showed some results over the past few years. You do have to admit that all things SEC tend to inflate their rankings...In most cases I can see a +/- of about 3 in polls once the season is going or over.
