Utter nonsense. One of the more annoying things about the Iowa fanbase is the arrogance to think that any mention of the Hawkeyes constitutes obsession. Do you even know what that word means?

The Gopher fanbase views the Hawkeyes with disdain and contempt - nothing more. The "Who Hates Iowa?" chant is used because the accent on the first syllable makes it flow well.

There is only one team that Minnesota fans think about, and that's Wisconsin. That's because of the fierce Viking-Packer rivalry and because the Badgers and Gophers are bitter rivals in hockey. The football scales, though, have been decidedly one-sides for many years.

So get over yourself. The two minutes I spent typing this is longer than any other Gopher fan has thought about Iowa in a long time.

Iowa fans have a really weird obsession with Fleck and Frost.

Iowa ranked 25th and will probably lose a couple of their better guys, ISU is ranked 32nd. The positive thing is CMC and staff are better at evaluating and developing players as we saw last year so the number gap really doesn't matter when it comes to who the best team in the state is

Pretty amazing that Yeahbuddy gets a chubby on football recruiting on how ISU supposedly does. We think just the opposite can be said about him when it comes to Iowa Basketball recruiting. He is so introverted on basketball he can't see because his knutes are where his eyeballs once were.
