Iowa Football Recruiting

Agreed. KF needs to stay forever or until Brian is ready to take over

Why would you even link such a garbage article?

By that idiots logic, Saban and Urb are B or B- coaches based on their regular season winning %.

Cant read them but Minnesota fans are about as obsessed with Iowa as you are so I wouldnt put much stock into them.

Feel bad for Brock, he really wanted to end up in IC. He should have committed last June when Endres and Lee did. He was close to pulling the trigger.
Utter nonsense. One of the more annoying things about the Iowa fanbase is the arrogance to think that any mention of the Hawkeyes constitutes obsession. Do you even know what that word means?

The Gopher fanbase views the Hawkeyes with disdain and contempt - nothing more. The "Who Hates Iowa?" chant is used because the accent on the first syllable makes it flow well.

There is only one team that Minnesota fans think about, and that's Wisconsin. That's because of the fierce Viking-Packer rivalry and because the Badgers and Gophers are bitter rivals in hockey. The football scales, though, have been decidedly one-sides for many years.

So get over yourself. The two minutes I spent typing this is longer than any other Gopher fan has thought about Iowa in a long time.

Why would they chant "Who hates Iowa, we hate Iowa" at sporting events where they arent even playing Iowa?

They are obsessed with Iowa.

You're just starting to realize you are paying for "premium info" that is a lie created by your football program and I had a bad weekend? Lol

Again, sour grapes by Halsted or the Minny writers who put that article out.

I knew of Britt and Belton committing to Iowa yesterday morning, about 6 hours prior to them announcing. Love paying for that premium info.

Both schools had a great recruiting weekend. I don't care if they were no star, a one star or even a five star. I think it pretty hilarious for yeahbuddy to sit there and say "two of your guys had no stars". What is this a " well, my dad can beat the crap out of your dad," type of thread. That is what it has evolved to with the crappy posts on how each school recruits along with all this premium info. Bottom line is, it was what the coaches do with these recruits once they get to school. How many of these kids flame out?

Let's see..... Baker Mayfield, a three star walk on at TTU and transfers out! How many of these kids actually get to see the field? Injury, homesick, beat out by someone else, etc, are what happens to these kids. I trust the coaches and who they put on the field whether it is a walk on or a 5 stars.

I think it is pretty funny watching all these posts about how Iowa's recruits are so much better than ours and if I remember correctly, what were both's, records last year? Yeahbuddy and his troll buddies still living in a fantasy world.

I know you're deliberately being obtuse, but I'll type slower this time and use English.

The accent (that's a word used when discussing syntax) in "Iowa" is on the first syllable (that's another word used when discussing syntax). That's not the case with other three-syllable teams like Wisconsin and Nebraska. The only other team it works for is Michigan, but they're not viewed with disdain and contempt like Iowa is.

That's why the chant is used. Plus, it's funny.
