They're D1. They went 3-28 last year. Sounds like this will be another year Iowa fans will think the RPI is out to get them
3-28 record last year in the Northeast Conference. There will be a lot of pressure on Iowa to get at least 1 win in their New York tournament as well as the CyHawk game. Those are really the only opportunities for meaningful out of conference victories.
Their SOS is going to be brutal
What the hell does Fran do for his non con? Just go to CBB reference, sort by least wins and say "give me Bryant, Chicago State, Alabama A&M and Northwestern State." ?

He might be able to take all 12 or so Fran plays single handed, but maybe add Kris, Dez, Matt, and maybe Anita if all the orange juice has kept her alive.
Nah, Fran is totally into analytics. He goes for net rating. Gotta get that per possession efficiency rather than just looking at wins and losses alone...

I feel like ISU has played UM-ES (the worst team in the country last year according to this), MVSU, Coppin State, and Chicago State lately, though.
This still doesn't explain why they can't play defense. Hell they can chase a chicken outdoors
I have no clue. It's June. I honestly couldn't care less about MBB or MBB recruiting right now.
But my assumption, knowing Mad Fran, is the kid must be a matchup nightmare.

I want Iowa to offer him- ideally they could sign both Locure and Carton, and Locure could redshirt. I think he’s got a lot of potential, but he seems to have some attitude/discipline issues that need straightening out. He has a skill set that no other guard on Iowa’s roster has, so I am all for Iowa offering a scholarship. I don’t care what other offers he does or doesn’t have.
