AL was getting calls the day before signing. He had already decided and said he told the hawk coaches he was done. Forget the exact amount of calls he received that day, but reports were way more than one.

Iowa plans to take 2-3 DB's this cycle. When the offers were made to the DB prospects, all of them are committable. Once Castro took one of the rides, the coaches are going to prioritize their higher targets and try and get one of them to commit since that position group is almost full. If that doesnt happen, they will go back to kids that they put as a lower priority, like Miller to see if they want to commit.

If Miller wanted to commit before Castro, he would have had a spot. He didnt so now there isnt a spot for him.

How is that any different than what Brian criticized Iowa State for. Iowa is apparently still looking for at least one more secondary player but Miller's offer wasn't committable?

It was committable from the point it was given until Castro verballed. Now, its not.

Phil's MO is to push hard for a commitment when kids are visiting. It has resulted in several decommits for him already up there. Iowa has landed at least 3 former verbals of MN since he has been up there.

Brown's HS coach was encouraging him to take one more visit so he had something to compare MN to but Phil said they needed an answer now.

No, just using the same logic you applied to the thread you started about the number of mid major players on Iowa's roster. You told me to contact the writer on the MSU beat that wrote the article.

What the MSU writer said is accurate. Brian is being a hypocrite by doing exactly what they criticized ISU for doing
