Iowa Football Recruiting

This is so hilarious. DJ had a offer from Iowa, and Yeahbuddy says Iowa doesn't yank offers and offers are committable as long as they still have open spots at that position. If a position fills up, then your offer no longer stands.

So, if it is correct that DJ no longer had an Iowa offer, then either they are full at his position or they yanked it. But since Iowa doesn't yank offers, Iowa must be full at CB. So I fully expect them to not accept any more CB commits in this class.

This really isn't that hard to understand, no one believes your troll.

So is Iowa full at CB now, or did KF and little Junior yank his offer? Which is it?

Iowa is likely only going to take one more DB. Miller had a chance to commit, but he waited too long and someone else committed first. Iowa is now waiting on guys they like more at that position. That is the way recruiting works everywhere.

“The guys in Ames and the new guy in Minneapolis seem to have no problem throwing early things out. What I’ve learned, certainly about the guys in Ames, we’ll find out about the guys in Minneapolis, what does an offer really mean? Ferentz said.

“I can tell you this much, if the University of Iowa offers you a scholarship and you commit to us, we intend to sign you and we intend to take your commitment. I think you have to look no further than in-state to see there were a lot of offers that went out in the 2018 class very early out of Ames. And I’m not sure all of those guys were able to commit to them if they wanted to, because some of those guys have since gone other places.”

Iowa right now has 1 DB committed for 2019, and he could end up being a safety, so possibly not a single CB committed right now.

You're telling me they will only be taking one more DB in this class? And also, you are admitting his offer was yanked, yet they aren't even full at his position yet. So you are admitting there is absolutely no difference whatsoever between how KF and Junior recruit and how ISU does. It's about time.

Yeahbuddy has ALWAYS said that an offer from KF and Junior is committable unless they are full at that position. Oops, I guess not.

Iowa took a large DB class last year and is already looking at an overall small class in the 18-20 range this year. They don’t have many more spots to fill. If Miller wanted one of them, he should have jumped in early.

The difference between what Iowa does and what Iowa State does: look no further than in-state OL Andrew Todd.

Iowa State makes offers they don’t plan on accepting. Iowa makes offers they plan on accepting, but they can’t accept every offer they make.

It’s really not that hard to figure out, but you guys will continue to be intentionally obtuse.

OMG... you are still trying to defend this nonsense. I give up. You're delusional.

You admitted Iowa wants to sign at least one more DB, but according to you, not from Miller. So Iowa is not honoring their "every offer is committable" then, period, end of story. I could just as easily make the comment that Iowa never intended on accepting a committment from Miller, just like you did with Todd and ISU. It's the exact same thing oh brilliant one.

Why can't arrogant Iowa fans ever just simply admit that ISU got a commitment that Iowa wanted? It happens people. Just admit it. You don't have to lie about how Iowa recruits so much more "ethically" than anyone else, when everyone knows it isn't true.

Iowa pulls offers from committed kids, don't act like they're better than anyone else. That's why what Brian said was so stupid

Y’all are pretty pathetic.

Hawk fans? Yes you are right, they are. Can't admit things that are right in front of their eyes.

I openly admit when Iowa gets a commit from someone I wanted ISU to get. Iowa fans just can't get themselves to do it for some odd reason? Hurts their egos too much I guess. So they have to make up stories (and lies) about how they no longer wanted the kid anymore, but yet all their offers are committable still.
