Iowa Football Recruiting

I think your main argument was Stanley faced tougher competition. Now that we know this isn't true I'm curious your reasoning besides "I'm a homer"

There is a difference between needing the 7th home game and not wanting to give up the revenue it generates. Barta is smart and prefers to have 7 home games a year. Pollard is dumb and would rather travel to Akron, Toledo and Vegas.
Was reading thru Stewart Mandell's Athletic article about top 5 toughest non conference schedules and Miami is in the 3rd spot and they are playing at a MAC school and only have 6 home games.

Well he did say they intend to sign guys they offer, so either he's lying or you're lying.
“I can tell you this much, if the University of Iowa offers you a scholarship and you commit to us, we intend to sign you.”

(Unless someone else signs).

He didn’t have a commitable offer to Iowa. He didn’t have one to ISU either up until the satellite camp where he showed out.
