Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

When did Jantz ever throw for 22 TD's during a season? (With a run first offense mind you) Nathan is already a much more polished QB than Jantz ever was.

The comparison is because they both have strong innaccurate arms and have a hard time holding onto the football. I don't think Jantz ever had 7 fumbles in one season and it seemed like he fumbled all the time

Reminds me a lot of Jantz. Raw ability and arm strength is there but not very polished and has issues holding onto the ball. I would agree Kempt had better WR to throw to last year but Iowa fans will brag about their TE's and OL so it's probably not an advantage either way

I think the overall offense around both QBs was pretty comparable. Both had great RBs who were incredible safety valves, ISU had the better WRs, Iowa probably had the better overall offense outside of those positions.

Numbers are numbers. Kempt put up better numbers against better competition.

The future is the future so who knows how it can change, but so far Kempt is a better college QB than Stanley. People are fooling themselves to say otherwise.

Yeah I don't have a problem if you think Stanley will be the better QB in the future but so far Kempt has been better by a large margin and it's not debatable

I don't think Jantz ever had 22 TD's or only 6 INT's in a season. Jake Christensen would be a better comp for Jantz.

Nobody thinks that, dont be obtuse.

We cared the most about winning @OU last year. This is clear fact beyond debate.

You said we care the most about our rivals so I assume you thought OU was ISU's rival.

So I guess you are making no sense as usual.

How is this a clear fact beyond debate?

Poor job of coaching by CMC then if this is true as he should have his team up for all conference games. Maybe you wouldnt have lost to KSU if that was the case.

So fumbles are obviously the only stat that are an indicator of said QB's talents. GTK.

Jantz was more accurate than Stanley and Stanley fumbled the ball more. Stanley threw for more TD's and through less INT's. Jantz was the better runner

Christ almighty you guys are dooming this poor guy... you had funky southern Jesus boy on this same pedestal this time last year and then ran him out of town after 1 horrible game and medical issues. Kempt seems like a nice level-headed kid. Have some mercy you heathens.

He's going to turn to the devil's lettuce at this rate.
