I know ISU has a really good relationship with Xavier's dad. Carton blew up more than i thought he would honestly but yeah I think ISU had the best shot to land him. He was only going to keep one in state school on his list to make people happy and where he's located Iowa makes more sense
Foster's parents are handling most of the convos with schools so it makes sense there is a relationship with his dad.
