Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

No problem, funnel everything into the rim protector.

It's a pretty interesting theory. Moss can't guard anyone so move him to the 3 and have two guys that can't guard the 2 replace him and then Baer can try to guard the 4 I guess. Solves everything Lol

The "all this talent" train is once again roaring 80 MPH down the tracks.

Footage of the derailment will be on your local news.

Iowa is going to be fine offensively, I think that much is obvious. All it takes is improving from “dreadfully terrible” to “below average” defensively to be an ok team.

Adding Wieskamp and Connor will be a tremendous benefit there by limiting the number of minutes Baer, Nunge, and Pemsl play at the three, where they were terrible defensively last year. Combine that with improvement and more effort from Moss and Cook (who have the athletic ability and measurables to be good defenders), and I think that can get them most of the way there.
If you extrapolate this level of optimism and apply it to ISU, ISU will go undefeated this year...

1. You expect two freshmen to step in and perform at a high level on defense: Low odds
2. You expect two players to make big leaps in defensive play: Not quite as low odds item 1, but still low odds.
3. Still no solution present for the point guard situation.

Low odds + low odds + no odds = tough odds.

Yes Patrick weighs 177 lbs and only had a 6'6 wingspan. How is that even possible honestly? Not trolling

Solid move ignoring the part of the post that discusses his athleticism. His supposed lack of athleticism is one of the knocks on him, according to a few posters on this board.

Did I ever say he wasn't athletic? I might have but I don't remember saying that. The biggest knocks on him have been his weight and the fact he shoots like a girl. His short arms is a new one that is justifiably going to be criticized

I for one never thought he was nonathletic.

But in point to your comparing him to THT: Do you think his vertical will stay the same if he is 30-50 (or 60 compared to THT) lbs heavier?

Iowa will be a borderline NCAA tournament team next season. Sorry to disappoint those of you wishing desperately for Iowa to be terrible again.

Had to check the time stamp on this. Yep. This is from 2018 just feel like I’ve heard it before.

I dont think Patrick is going to add 30-50 lbs to his frame while at Iowa so this is really a moot point. I would be thrilled if he got to 200 while at Iowa.

All this talk and no mention of an offensively elite Garza?

Patrick tweeted at THT "Let's go Hawks". Shots fired...

Way to go Patrick! High five!
