It is clearly an opinion. Cook is a kid that wasn't getting drafted this year nor is he getting drafted next year. Why do you think some of the guys covering Iowa didn't think he would be back? He's playing for a trash program and a trash coach who hasn't helped him get ready for the next level.
Shayok was going to see a decreased role as a senior at UVA and hardly anybody on this board wanted Jacobson until he actually visited ISU.
I actually thought NWB was brought in at the end of the Hoiberg era. He is decent.
There is no question THT is a better recruit when you factor in that he is a year younger than Joe.
My favorite @YeahBuddy take by far is that Shayok isn't going to be good this year. That one is never going to stop being amazing to me
If Iowa basketball fans knew Shayok was going to be playing for them this upcoming year, they would be saying they are national title favorites.
I will save him the time. It came from a UVA fan site justifying it wasn't that big of a deal to lose Shayok just like Ross Peterson, Andy Fales, etc were saying losing Cook was addition by subtraction when they thought he was out the door. It's called a coping mechanism
