Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

Thats not really what he said, he said those three are making him a top priority. Apparently it was a Facebook Q & A:

DJ: I feel as if Ohio state Indiana and Michigan are making me a high priority but the whole recruiting process has been a good learning experience and it’s been an honor although it’s been stressful at times it’s something I will cherish forever.

LJ: You released a top 6 describe what stands out about the listed teams:

Iowa: Iowa is special, the fan base is great and it’s an in state school. Definitely a lot of support there and I’ve gotten to know the team and recruits real well.
A lot of support? Is he for real?

DJ: Ohio State: Ohio State has such a rich history with left handed guards and I feel like coach Holtmann is one of the best.
Left handed guards? Seriously?

Michigan: coach Beilein is great at developing guards and they have a young team with a lot of talent and will continue to win.

Marquette: Marquette is super young and very talented and has a great system with a great coach.
Wojo is their least achieving coach in decades. If Ellenson wasn't in State, I could see if Marquette wanted to move on soon.

Indiana: Indiana is rich with a winning tradition and is turning the program around. Got good talent and a crazy atmosphere

Xavier: Xavier is a new group with a lot of young guys and good talent coming in. At the end of the day they win and get the job done.

How do you make him a top priority without recruiting him the hardest?

This thread also has the eFuneral are you prepared, plan your path today ad. Starting to think it has nothing to do with NBA draft and more a vultures circling me thing.

So I'll ask again @YeahBuddy, how is Fran not making Carton a priority?

I think he is. I would bet all the top 6 are prioritizing Carton. Fran definitely has his faults, but to nitpick that comment and turn it into him not making Carton a top target is quite a stretch.

Again, he has been in person at more of his AAU games than any member of any staff that is recruiting him.
