You clearly don’t watch much Iowa basketball because that is a pretty awful and inaccurate scouting report.
I’ve watched TYler Cook his entire career at Iowa..He’s a great dunker..NBA has lots of those. NBA today is all about stretch 4’s. Cook has no game outside 10 feet, he’s not even a very good rebounder for his size and athleticism. I don’t know what T Cook u watched.
Good thing Cook has all those B10 accolades you can point to to back up your opinion.
Well, to be fair, Hok fans are at a disadvantage when it comes to watching good MBB. They are stuck at CHA or on the B1G network while the rest of us get to watch some of the best basketball in the country.
Watching the NBA this year, and I watch Javale McGee and Patulia. They're both probably considered average NBA big men, and I'm amazed at how skilled they are. I didn't watch much Iowa this year, but I never saw the kind of skill in Cook that made me think he can make it in the NBA. He can probably make a lot of $ in Europe though if the NBA doesn't work out.
That description was almost identical to what John Sears, an all time Iowa douche homer, said last night on sound off.
