He appears to be very athletic. Neither him nor Locure appear to be high major recruits, but if Iowa misses out on Carton, I would like to see them bring in a guard with good quickness and athleticism. Would rather have Locure or Hutchens than another C.J. Fredrick, so I guess there’s the glass half full view.

Why can't he just get like a normal recruit? Like beat out some Big Ten and Big 12 teams for a recruit. It's like he goes all in on a top kid and his fallback is a mid major recruit
Unless they are lifelong Hok fans, or best buds with his kids, Fran isn't getting any guard talent to come to EIU. My guess is players what a chance to play for a winning coach and actually improve in college.
Connor was a 4 Star. At least that’s what I’ve heard from hok fan. It’s going to be hard to come in and beat him out.

I'm not concerned I don't understand why you think Iowa is in the top 3 for a kid when all the national guys say Iowa is not a player in his recruitment
