Iowa Football Recruiting

Did NIU lose all their best players and not recruit at all or something? I'm not even sure Iowa can score 13 points without Wadley. And with no linebackers you are for sure giving up more than 13 points to any team with a heartbeat.
They are loaded at linebacker I've been told

You are on a list with Minnesota, Miami (OH), Minnesota, and Nebraska who has been way down. That's a list of terrible teams. Yikes

Sounds like the offer lists, if you throw out Nebby, of most ISU recruits.

And props to Minny for making the list twice.

Interesting new offer by Iowa.

https://247sports.com/Player/Dane-Belton-46050305

They wont accept the commitment of Derrick Miller as there are other DB's on the board that they are now prioritizing. Sounds like Belton could be making an OV to Iowa on 06/22. That may be turning into a pretty big recruiting weekend for the TOE.

Any idea who the main priority is at QB now that they missed out on Duggan and Dean?

We can go ahead an put the final nail in the "all Iowa's offers are committable" story now, right?

Its not hard, Stewo.

The offer to Miller was committable when it was given. Now that Castro is on board and the likelihood that Iowa takes only 1 more DB, 2 at the very most, not all DB offers are committable at this time.

When Iowa offers you a scholly you can commit. If you wait, the bus may fill up at your position and you may not have a spot anymore.

Oh, so like every other school in the country? Hmm.

It will probably be like the last umpteen recruiting cycles where the Iowa QB commit is higher rated than the ISU commit at QB.

Doesn't matter where they are ranked when they are a fallback to the kid they really wanted. They offered Dean and he could have committed on the spot and the search would be over
