How? Neither Iowa or ISU were ranked in the final AP. ISU got votes! they had more than Iowa! That is the premise of this whole argument. Iowa has been there. We dont remember a single successful season where we were getting votes. It is viewed as average.
Congrats on the participation ribbon. Finally Iowa State has an accomplishment to hang a banner for: received votes in the final 2017 AP poll.
