Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

No I was just trying to assuage your fears that Kirk is as big of a scumbag as the others since he too covered up an assault committed by his players. The destruction of evidence from a crime scene puts him on the brink of the title, but the others were more systematic.

You should feel angry that your coach would violate a young woman like that. But he probably not as bad as penn st and mich state and Baylor as it only was this, oh and the falsification of drug tests too.

He’s a ****** person, just not as ******.

Now go away too. And take your “slow” brother with you.

Take your tinfoil hat off and take a few days off from the internet, Cat. I am genuinely concerned for your mental stability and emotional well-being.

Cool. Still no quotes from Campbell mentioning “the process”.

Yeahbuddy has already taken care of this for us. Next Topic?

Apparently, CMC has been using the "process" since:

Well you're not very good at searching Twitter if the first thing you saw was him saying it at Hilton

Still tweeted after Coach Doyle started using it. And the SI article you linked mentions how Campbell likes to steal things from other programs, so it is quite possible (perhaps even likely?) that he took it from Coach Doyle and the Iowa program.

So an article that talks about campbell and his process is not acceptable becasue it doesn't directly quote him after being interview? Ok, I got ya.

IIRC there was a very good statistical article (on SB Nation maybe) a year or 2 ago about turnovers being random luck -- or not. I couldn't find the exact article, sorry. There is a ton of info on this, but most of it is really shallow research. What this article decided was that fumbles were mostly in your control, but interceptions not so much.

With fumbles, bad teams cough up more, but whether offense or defense falls on it is luck. But over a season, bad teams coughing up more makes a big difference. It seemed like this was more about the offense than the quality of the defense. Thus fumbles were a good indicator of a good / bad team, and less about luck.

But interceptions were different. You had a certain amount of control over the number of off-target passes thrown- bad teams and QBs threw more of course. But after that it was totally random if they turned into picks or just incompletes. So in this case the luck factor was more important than the bad team factor.

Based on that, I would say that ISU not turning it over much WAS a good indicator that they were good and not just lucky last year. Kempt didn't throw many off-target passes, as he wasn't asked to do that much, and was happy throwing it away or taking the short easy pass. And the RBs just didn't fumble.

Caveat: this is all from my recollection of the article, so may not be 100% right. But this is the gist of what I recall.

If you look at luck overall, ISU surely got some breaks at times, but suffered some bad breaks too. OU fumbling inside the 5 was good; being ruled an INT in the end zone vs OSU and 4 picked up flags vs KSU was bad. IMHO, they were slightly on the bad side of the luck equation over the course of the year.

How truly pathetic you are. The fear drips off of every post. Iowa State already is the premiere basketball program, and it isn’t close. Now football is narrowing and you are scared.

All of the self esteem you have in life is running around yelling clowns and that nonsense. Now you see the reality, and you realize you will be left with nothing.

You should probably just give up and leave this site forever and quit reregistering when you get banned for being the stupidest person here. On second thought, just leave now.

HAHA you didnt know who Campbell even was before 2014

It's funny though we had Toledo posters who told us all about him and The Process when he got hired here and still have a couple that post here but yes I did

Listen, no one actually cares who started using “the process” first. Campbell obviously didn’t invent it, and if you think he did, you have your head so far up his *** I am not quite sure how you are getting enough air to breathe. Similarly, if you think Iowa’s coaching staff started using it just because Iowa State’s staff started using it, you are an incredibly stupid person.
