Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

Come on, you are better than that.

Not even @JP4CY tried to spin the less than 3 tenths of a percent difference as being easier.
No, I posted the numbers and said its good they played some of the good teams for once. That #5 last year really jumps that average number up quite significantly.
I said I also expect it to go back up this year and next year.

It's pretty inarguably easier, the math is right there.

It may be a garbage statement in real-world application, but it's still a factual one. Math don't lie, .26 SOS points is still .26 SOS points.

Take that!

Never took you for a troll, guess I whiffed on that one.

That seems like a pretty terrible move. Your dad's seat is warm and you are going to redshirt when you can help the team so you can play with your brother even though fans will want your dad fired by that time?

That was before the transfer and season started. Is this really that hard to understand

I understand that. Did losing a bad mid major player like Williams hurt Iowa that bad or what? If Connor was better than him he should have been planning to play all along

Your statement was that you were looking at the whole year. So, it's not really about you being wrong, so much, as you blatantly contradicting yourself within a single post..
So I am not wrong, just changing my stance to fit the narrative.

He was going to red shirt to play BASEBALL. Williams was good enough for 10 minutes a game IMO. So he was going to play baseball his freshman year but the transfer forced him to change his options and re evaluate things. Then nagging injuries changed that again. It really is not that hard.

What is it like to hate so much every single day?

So if he wasn't going to help the basketball team enough to play last year he probably isn't very good. Not hard to understand

Now I'm intrigued to see a Big 10 only strength of schedule. Iowa's total SOS isn't exactly a perfect representation of that.
I personally feel the league was stronger and more competitive at 11 teams.

You do realize Iowa's OOC is factored into those SOS metrics right?

Absolutely, which, for the most part, has included a terrible ISU team.

So either the B1G SOS isnt as poor as your heart desires or Iowa has played better OOC competition, ISU excluded, that you want to admit.
