Know any farmers we can find to follow around and figure out what a barn is?
Recruits like Kreiner, Woodbury, Gesell, Weiskamp, J-Bo---all weened on Hawkeye propaganda as youths from their parents watching James Moses and Wade Lookingbill, etc
Fran spent about $6 recruiting all of them....basically with postcards, and mailers.
They were coming to Iowa anyway, and fell into Fran's lap. It didn't matter who was coaching Iowa
Why doesn't Fran recruit transfers/grad-transfers? He has
He WHIFFED so many times in trying to sign them, vs coaches like Fred Hoiberg and others, so Fran downplays it.

Says the guy that wants to use AP to compare top 25 talent, really top 40 talent if you count votes, but if you are not in the votes range saragin only works. Even though saragin ranks ALL teams. BUT it cant be used because it says Iowa was better than ISU last year...... Cytwins logic folks, posting nonsense

Oh someone was talking about Massey too so I didn't know where he was at on that. 2 top 10 finishes in his career in Sagarin but you guys still want to use that over the AP. Weird
Hoiberg missed on a ton of HS recruits. If Prohm would have offered Moss that would have carried more weight since Prohm is a terrific HS recruiter but Prohm would have never reached on a mid major guy like Moss
