The whole team besides Tyler cook are not mid major. Garza Moss kriener and now Weiskamp and Fredrick. All had good offers outside of iowa. The others you could say were fall back.

Yup, Garza had a better offer list than any Iowa State recruit in the last five years other than Wigginton and maaaaybe THT. Similarly, Wieskamp would be Iowa State’s third most highly rated recruit in the last five years. That doesn’t fit the Iowa State fan narrative though, so they choose to ignore them.
So the top offers were an awful Minnesota and Mizzou, and a Valley team.

Kriener would have had UK, KU, and Duke offers if he would have gone to prep school.
