Almost every single computer ranking says Iowa was better at football. You know that and I know that. Derp.

So Iowa would be favored to beat Iowa State on a neutral court in basketball? That means they are better. Derp.

I am not a troll. I am speaking nothing but absolute truth. Iowa State is better than Iowa in both sports right now. You don't like it, so you call me an obvious troll. Go ahead and take your ball and go home. I don't care.

As far as football. I think it is a complete toss up. I imagine if they would have played 10 times each team would have won 5. That is how close I think it was. this year i think it could be the same depending on how new starters perform for each team.

I firmly believe that if the Iowa/ISU football game was later in the season, ISU would have won that game by 10ish. Our defense didn't really find itself until after the Texas game.

This is a new development dating back a few months. You used to only use it for teams ranked in the Top 25 until it no longer fit your arguement....then you moved the goalposts.

Correct me if I am wrong but the defense ISU had success with isnt really designed to stop a team like Iowa, is it? Isnt it more suited to defend offenses that are less pro style and more wide open?

ISU beat 3 ranked opponents last season. Two of which were on the road. One of those teams didn't lose again until the playoffs.
