Iowa having the better football team is obvious. As far as having the better basketball team, I know you love KenPom, and Iowa was ranked more highly in KenPom. I don’t see how anyone could find that statement controversial.
We should but we play for the entire season, not one game, so anything can happen when a team is so focused on just the one game.
How is it obvious? Iowa State was ranked higher than Iowa at the end of the year. Fact.
In basketball, Iowa State would beat Iowa 100% of the time. That's not debatable. Face it, this is a Cyclone State.

Iowa State was the better basketball team last year the problem was they didn't have everyone healthy. but when they were, ISU was better.
As far as football. I think it is a complete toss up. I imagine if they would have played 10 times each team would have won 5. That is how close I think it was. this year i think it could be the same depending on how new starters perform for each team.

I think we will win. But clearly KF and his moron of a son care most about this game so anything could happen.
We both agreed on AP for teams in the AP Top 25 and Sagarin for every team not in the AP Top 25.
