Honestly it really wasn't close in either sport, but especially not basketball. We played better competition, beat you head to head, and have a lot more potential for the future. In football you beat us by a fluke drop and we changed things up after that game and were significantly better than Iowa by year end. There is not debate. This is a Cyclone State!
Oh I would be shocked if Iowa didn't beat ISU in football next year and I'd be shocked if ISU didn't end up being the better team at the end of the season

You are one of the few Iowa fans around that can actually admit that. So I guess one out of every 1000 hok fans realize that we are significantly better than the hoks in both sports.
Iowa has been prepping for the ISU game since January. Not that hard to figure out. They highlight the ISU game and it'll be the most important game on the schedule
That ranking was clearly flawed. If ISU played Iowa 50 times last year, we would've won all 50 times. Period.

You were back to referencing the AP Poll today, the same poll that said ISU was the best team in the state last year so you're heading the right direction
Iowa has the best football and basketball teams in the state. Those are literally irrefutable facts.
