Thats true, we should look at his per 40 minutes numbers or per 100 possessions numbers.
Those all show a big jump from freshman Gabe to senior Gabe.
I'll ask you this. Do you think Fran would be the worst coach in the Big 12?

Cound Niang dunk? serious question because he was a great player. Because Patrick can jump dude.
Development from 1 and 1 as a freshman would be more along the trajectory of Naz Long.

Naz averaged 18.2 points per 40 minutes as a senior and Gabe was at 17.3.
we're really using per40's now? Yeesh.Naz averaged 18.2 points per 40 minutes as a senior and Gabe was at 17.3.
No clue, I dont watch enough Big 12 basketball to answer this.

Do you think Fran is a better coach than any of these coaches?
- Scott Drew (Baylor)
- Steve Prohm (Iowa State)
- Bill Self (Kansas)
- Bruce Weber (Kansas State)
- Lon Kruger (Oklahoma)
- Mike Boynton (Oklahoma State)
- Jamie Dixon (TCU)
- Shaka Smart (Texas)
- Chris Beard (Texas Tech)
- Bob Huggins (West Virginia)
Seeing each coach twice probably isn't enough to make a completely informed decision.
Their pg statistics are usually a pretty good measurement.what do you want to use?
Again, I rarely watch Big 12 basketball so its hard for me to properly evaluate all of these guys.
He would be behind Drew, Prohm, Self, Kruger, Dixon, Huggins and Beard for sure.
An argument can maybe be made against Boynton and Smart? Maybe?Do you think Fran is a better coach than any of these coaches?

You realize 2 of the guys you've left out have coached Final Four teams?Again, I rarely watch Big 12 basketball so its hard for me to properly evaluate all of these guys.

A case can be made for Webber, Kruger, and maybe Beard as I do not know a lot about the guy. Smart has kinda underwhelmed at Texas.
Notice that I think Prohm is better at the moment.
Huggins, Self, Drew are excellent coaches and recruiters
Dixon is just a good coach.
Boynton I also have no clue about
I listed Webber and Kruger because they couldnt hack it in the Big 10.
I appreciate your honesty. But Beard going to be, if not already, thought of as one of the best coaches in the country.A case can be made for Webber, Kruger, and maybe Beard as I do not know a lot about the guy. Smart has kinda underwhelmed at Texas.
