Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

This isn't true.

NBA Draft Early Entrant Withdrawal Deadline: June 11th.

Edit: Apparently that's not true either.

NBA website is a bit misleading.

Players wishing to enter the 2018 NBA Draft were required to submit a letter to the NBA to be received no later than Sunday, April 22. Players who have applied for early entry have the right to withdraw their names from consideration for the Draft by notifying the NBA of their decision in writing no later than 5 p.m. ET on Monday, June 11. Under NCAA rules, in order to retain college basketball eligibility, underclassmen who have entered the 2018 Draft must withdraw by Wednesday, May 30.

Like I said, he's not going to be playing college basketball if he's deciding June 10th

It says June 10th.

He's not making an NBA team.

He'll be back in IC.

This has been known all along yet all reports have persisted that they don't believe he'll be back. It has been a weird deal and he could come back and improve his stock as he's still considered relatively young, but it appears he may be set on getting on with his pro career.

I don't think Cook will be back. Might as well go to the G League and have your room and board paid for while actually getting paid and can focus just on basketball.

Noted.

Welp, in that case it would appear that he isn't considering a return to college.

The hawkeyes are going to be brutally untalented.

Ellingson was in the rotation his whole career and transferred to Drake, Williams was apparently the missing piece to the puzzle and transferred to a horrible MVC team and now a former starter is switching sports. They've lacked talent for quite some time but this upcoming year without Cook is going to be really bad

Weird that they have the NBA deadline to withdraw and the NCAA eligibility deadline on different dates.
The NCAA has a rule that works for their purposes and the NBA has a deadline that works for them. We tend to forget that the NCAA players are only a part of who the NBA are considering.

I wouldnt put a lot of stock into Dolph providing factual information. Just like a few posters here, its possible he has his dates confused since there are 2 dates to withdraw.

Yeah I'm sure Cook has no clue what the dates are or anything

Do you think Dolph runs his own twitter account?
