According to you, the 2 OL's were pretty equal last season:
ISU was better at pass blocking IMO

Also, how is this relevant to whether Wadley had elite production or not? Wadley’s production was better than Montgomery’s. That is a fact. If you think Montgomery’s production was elite, by extension you must think Wadley’s production was elite. All conference teams are not a component of production.
Interesting that you remember Wadley being at Iowa for 5 years but don't remember CJ getting blasted 16 months ago in a bowl game.
Who had a better OL?
QB: Kempt
RB: Montgomery
WR: Lazard
WR: Ryen
WR: Butler
TE: Fant
OL: Campos
OL: Daniels
OL: Welsh
OL: Good Jones
OL: Knipfel or Iowa's other guard
I think 5 players ended up being elite in the state last year:
Montgomery
Daniels
Jackson
Lazard
Jewell
Right now only one is returning and that's Montgomery. Who can step up and get to that level for each team is the next question. I'd be surprised if Montgomery was the only one listed at the end of next season
Again, according to you they were equal or a slight edge to ISU since you listed Knipfel first in the swing spot:
All of those guys were either a high draft pick or 1st team AA except Lazard. How are you going to move the goal posts so he is considered elite?
Who had a better OL?
You didn’t answer my question. Did Wadley have elite production, considering his stats were better than Montgomery’s, who you claim had elite production?
No Montgomery had more rushing yards and according to Iowa fans a terrible OL
So Wadley didn’t have elite production, even though he had more total yards and TDs than Montgomery and played against much stronger competition with much better defenses?
So you agree with me? Good to know
Weisman had more TDs than Wadley and Montgomery as a senior. Also Wadley played in the Big Ten West lol
This doesn’t make any sense.
Wadley played a tougher schedule than Montgomery according to Sagarin, which you believe is the go-to source for strength of schedule. So how could you laugh at Wadley playing in the Big Ten West when he faced better competition and better defenses than Montgomery did in the Big XII?
You love hanging your hat on 2017s schedule. Too bad you won't have another one like that for years (at best). So Wadley didn’t have elite production, even though he had more total yards and TDs than Montgomery and played against much stronger competition with much better defenses?
Love that schedule. Love it.Wadley played a tougher schedule than Montgomery according to Sagarin, which you believe is the go-to source for strength of schedule. So how could you laugh at Wadley playing in the Big Ten West when he faced better competition and better defenses than Montgomery did in the Big XII?
The Big Ten is a defensive optional conference. Derp
Why no schedule? It must be really tough on your ego to get so thoroughly pwnd like you have these last couple pages.
