I think 5 players ended up being elite in the state last year:

Montgomery
Daniels
Jackson
Lazard
Jewell

Right now only one is returning and that's Montgomery. Who can step up and get to that level for each team is the next question. I'd be surprised if Montgomery was the only one listed at the end of next season

All of those guys were either a high draft pick or 1st team AA except Lazard. How are you going to move the goal posts so he is considered elite?

Weisman had more TDs than Wadley and Montgomery as a senior. Also Wadley played in the Big Ten West lol

Wadley played a tougher schedule than Montgomery according to Sagarin, which you believe is the go-to source for strength of schedule. So how could you laugh at Wadley playing in the Big Ten West when he faced better competition and better defenses than Montgomery did in the Big XII?
