My Pledge—No More Trolling

Wow, that’s surprising considering how much you like to talk about how he wasn’t very good.

I can admit when a player is elite. The only elite player in the state next year is Montgomery. There's some others that could be knocking on that door though for both teams

With a good OL? Probably 2000 yards and 18 TDs

Montgomery gained almost half of his rushing yards (550 out of 1146) on the season in 4 games against TTU, BU, Akron and WVU. Texas Tech was the strongest rushing defense of any of those 4 teams if that tells you anything.

The average ranking of those 4 teams rush defense is 90.

Texas Tech- 62
Baylor- 91
Akron- 105
West Virginia- 103

The average rush defense of the teams that Wadley faced last year was 49.5.

You think that Montgomery would have put up 850 more yards and 7 more TD's while playing much better run defenses. Way to be objective.

Wouldn't you say Iowa had a much better run blocking OL than Iowa State last season?

I mean when you're a first team All American yeah you're elite

Josh Jackson was a 1st team All-American last season and you said during the season it was between him and Gervase for the worst d back in the Iowa secondary.

Is he elite or was he in the conversation for the worst d back on the team?

Montgomery was better against Iowa than he was #103 WVU? Yikes for you guys

Jackson was elite last year. Yeah Butler made him look silly but overall he was definitely elite

No wasn't he like fourth team all conference?

Also, how is this relevant to whether Wadley had elite production or not? Wadley’s production was better than Montgomery’s. That is a fact. If you think Montgomery’s production was elite, by extension you must think Wadley’s production was elite. All conference teams are not a component of production.
