Cbssports Top 100 prospects

Posted a few mock drafts that has David very high on the Snubbed feed, but I found another this morning:

David Montgomery (Pictured on Main Page of Article) - Junior RB Iowa State

2017 could have been the year of Montgomery but a man named Saquon dominated headlines. David Montgomery forced 104 missed tackles on 258 carries- the most since PFF started tracking the statistic- displaying phenomenal lateral agility and a fierce running style that was fun to watch. Montgomery plays with a chip on his shoulder, has displayed pass-catching chops, and has vision nearly unmatched in this class. At times he looks for the big play and isn’t decisive behind the line, it’s one of the few weaknesses in his game. David is considered the 2nd or 3rd best prospect in this class and will really solidify his stock for the NFL this season.

Games to watch: Sept 8 at Iowa, Sept 15 vs Oklahoma, Sept 29 at TCU, Nov 17 at Texas

The "Lazard-snub" equivalent would be DM dropping to, like, early 4th round. Selected after at least one punter....

It is hard to believe that Green Bay would actually draft a long snapper ahead of Lazard and about 30 other free agents left on the board.

Since he is a Cyclone running back, he could run for 2100 yards, not win the Heisman, and then get drafted in Rd 4 because ISU. And this may be the case even if ISU wins the Big 12. Oh, and if ISU wins the Big 12, it would be because the conference is "down."

Funny you said that because I retweeted Jared's article and said "If the Oline moves anyone. David will run for 2k yards and get 1st round hype"

It got some attention from PFF guys who replied, even if he runs for 2k, he still wont go in the first round because he won't beat a 4.55 forty. They don't think any RB will go in the first round FWIW. They also think he's the best back in 2019 but a team might like Bryce Love and his 4.30 forty more in the first.
