Todd Small

Looks like a good pick up. It looks like he plans on competing for 133, but is there ANY chance he could/would drop back to 125?

When I saw the announcement I assumed he was dropping down. After reading his interview i love his comments about competition but Gomez should be a hammer

I really like Small, but don’t see how he fits with Gomez.

Small does have a redshirt, so maybe he can use that and move to 41.

Parker should be holding that down. I agree, that with Gomez I am not sure where he fits in.

I loved his comments and how he knew it was Gomez's spot and up to him to take it away. FWIW he would have probably beat Simmons last year. Get him in a D1 room and he could turn some heads

Have to have more than 1 guy manniing a spot.
At 125, roster is Mackall, Allison, and Briggs
At 133, roster is Gomez
At 141, roster is Parker and Vasquez

Going to potentially get in a lot of trouble with that depth at D1 level

Agreed. I don't know if he has a spot, but it sure is nice to sign some legit D1 depth in the lower weights. We've been stocking up on upper weight guys but this has been a glaring weakness that I'm glad to see addressed.

Could not agree more with this statement. We just need depth and quality on top of that. Competition is always good.

He's an undersized 133. 141 seems unlikely. Great guy to have for depth in case of injury, at the very least.
