Redekers

I’ll add that if the poster wasn’t looking for opinions on his purchase, he’s either never read a car, student loan, or house post on here or is just really stupid.

No one has to justify their decisions on here, but if you are too thinned skin to deal with people with differing opinions, then that’s in you.

Built a new house and decided it was time to upgrade furniture

Bought the rug mentioned in earlier post, couch, bed, end tables, dresser and armoire at Redekers. No discounts. Keep wanting me to open an account and offered discounts if did

Didn’t take long before seams showing on rug and feathers coming out of upholstery

Still happy with bedroom furniture

In future will go for manufacturer name not store name

My wife and I will be looking to buy an L shaped couch and rug if anyone has any good recommendations on those would love to hear them. Would like to be able to find something in the $1,500-$2,000 range for the couch. Haven’t had that great of luck with lazy-boy.

They carry these at both Homemakers (Limited) and Nebraska Furniture Mart. Sometimes you can get really lucky in the clearance center at NFM if you’re not looking for a whole set. We’ve found it’s worth the drive out to Omaha.

They might creep over 2k for a sectional. Just depends on your taste.

We bought a Jackson sectional from Homemakers a few years back and it's the comfiest couch that I've had the pleasure to sink my butt into.

Will give a shout out for brick furniture in mason city, Albert lea and Austin. Have always felt we got great quality at a fair, not cheap but fair, price. Fantastic service and support for furntiture.

1500 for a chair and l couch is kinda middle ground. I’d either spend a grand or less for cheap, or 2500-3000 for a really nice set that will last longer than you need. Will probably finally give out when children start leaving.

If you have a specific maker/design, do not be afraid to rent a uhaul covered trailer and open your range to Omaha, Mpls and KC. Internet friendly options
