Quote from RP's article the other day: "One scout said there’s a chance the 20-year-old could be picked late in the second round — emphasis on could be."
Seems as though going from projected undrafted to 1st round promise is the sizable leap it'd take for Lindell to not be back... Which makes sense. Good news to hear him say it though. Bottom link shows he's currently No. 95 on NBA draft net. There are 40+ guards ahead of him right now.

So who was holding them back, Beverly or Brase? Long?“We’ll have a pretty good team,” Wigginton said. “It’s most definitely a tournament team and potentially even farther in the tournament. We’ve got a good group. We’re kind of gelling right now too. We’ve got good chemistry right now in the weight room, on the floor. It feels good right now.”

Injuries, experience, depth
And experience playing together.
Sometimes players click out of the gates (think Kane/Ejim or Tinsley/Fizer) but those were also players with lots of playing experience in general.
At times last year Wiggs/Lard had what looked like a two man game going that was fun.
I would think LW would want to have a little more of a legacy at ISU than one bad season.
I would also like to think that but if it comes down to it, money talks. And experience playing together.

That did occur to me when I bumped it but it seemed the most logical thread to which the video should be added. Can we close this thread and/or start a new one for discussion on last year's team? My heart can't take seeing this pop up every day.
We could know soon if Lindell is playing in Hilton next year or if we have another month of waiting on the decision.

Lindell Wigginton will learn Friday if he’s been selected to participate in the NBA's Draft Combine next month in Chicago.
Iowa State's freshman phenom is hoping to be among 70 or so invited to what essentially is a tryout camp attended by scouts, coaches and executives of each NBA team. It'll be held May 16-20 at the Quest Multisport Complex
