Do you know what adjusted completion percentage is? If you do, I think you can understand how it’s a lot different than a made-up stat like QBR.

Kempt's QB Rating is much higher here. Is this made up too?

So Kempt was more efficient than Stanley last year? I would believe that. Kempt had much better receivers to throw to and played in a conference that plays terrible defense.
I think benji is correct with regards to QBR. I remember reading that it isn't a very good metric but of course ESPN dominates sports so it has become widely talked about because their people have to cite it. Same with FPI. But they may have worked to improve it, I don't know because that was the first few years when there was lots of discussion about its flaws.
