I got to have an MRI last night. I guess I'll find out what's up with me knee in a day or two.

The bad news was that I had to have an MRI. The good news was that Summer of '69 was one of the piped-in songs.

Hopefully it can be fixed by therapy and not surgery either way good luck on getting healed up.

If they don’t read the results and tell you right away it means they are prepping for the amputation. They have found out it’s best to just do it so you don’t agonize over it in the meantime.

So, what did you do? Hurt yourself coaching the kids on some move? Alumni friend here broken her leg a few years back showing junior high kids how to hurdle. Ooops.

I was playing basketball. A neighbor tore his Achilles a couple of years ago showing kids how to run bases.

You are too old to play basketball, just sayin'. HORSE is okay, just not real games. Actually, the achilles you mention is what I fear. Mine are way tight. Fear of them popping is why i don't do hoops or even sand volleyball in Mexico with the younger kids. BIL tore his in China playing badminton trying to be social with his Chinese biz team. Long flight home with that torn tendon.

Of course I am still an idiot about some things, ran 3 miles yesterday, something none of my friends still do. So, protecting my achilles while courting a heart attack by running in my mid-60's.

I ruptured my left Achilles in 2004, playing football in the street at my niece's graduation party. (I was a youngster of 48 at the time.) Dr. Dayton did a marvelous job of suturing it back together - I have no issues whatsoever, except that if someone is walking too close behind me, I do get a little freaked out.

My neighbor ruptured his Achilles chasing is granddaughter around the house. He said that was a bit embarrassing.

No way was it 70s. I watched it with my dad. Unless the 80s version was a remake of the 70s version. Whatever the case 80s V is the only V.

How did I miss out on a V conversation? I loved that series. I'm thinking it was 1982ish?

I went gaga for that series. (I think I was around 9 or 10 when it was on TV.) My Halloween costume was black boots, a red jumpsuit, with a bit of "flesh" dangling off my cheek, and I painted some green scales underneath where the skin was "revealed."

You are correct. I'm too old to be playing basketball. My ACL is torn.
