Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

If you want to know why Iowa is so bad at basketball, look who won Awards last night lol

"...the sixth Hawkeye in program history to total more than 400 points and 150 assists in a season."

Only six? This can't be right can it?

Iowa State has had at least 11 different players accomplish it at least 15 times.
Morris 3
Tinsley 2
Hornacek 2
Kane
Garrett
Blalock
Collins
Woods
White
Stinson
Bayless

Sorry if I missed someone who should be on this list.

ISU PGU

Wigginton went for 518 and 88 last year, too.

There were a lot of players who were a lot closer than that on a season but I only counted those who actually made the numbers.

For example Stinson made the mark his junior year. He had exactly 534 points both his freshman and sophomore years but had 143 and 139 assists those two years.

I'm dead serious I don't think Fran realizes he can get a grad transfer and use that scholarship for 2019 too

“You look at a grad transfer. You look at a transfer as a possibility. But then if I do that, then I don’t have a ’19. I want to have a scholarship in ’19,” Fran McCaffery said. “So that’s probably what we’re going to do. Hold on to it and just go after the ’19 class.”

But you'll only be able to play 14.

Hes obviously referring to taking a sit out when he talks about not having a scholly for 2019. Try reading for once.

Connor is officially on scholly for next season.

Up to two rides could be availabe depending on what Cook and Pemsl decide.
