Didnt ISU lose their OL coach to the Colts?

And I have seen a few posters on this board state that OL is a concern for ISU this coming season?
Campbell knows what he's doing. It will take us some time to get the o-line up to speed, but they will improve throughout the year and be a solid bunch. Unlike that team out east, we get better as the season progresses.

I think the biggest question is can they become a good run blocking oline? If they can, then their offense should be really good.
Yeah, that's my biggest concern.

With the youth they might have on the OL it becomes a question of whether the strength is there just yet for a few guys. It can take 3-4 years in S&C before they're ready to push guys back.

If ISU can avoid any long term injuries up front they could have a pretty solid offense.

I just looked at your schedule though, its pretty brutal up front.

They have yet to release a spring 2 deep (they didn't last year either).

My gut tells me the spring two deep probably looks something like this for now.

LT Foster, JGJ
LG Hudson, JGJ/Newell
C JGJ, Newell
RG Knipfel, Mueller
RT Meeker, Bolton

Udeogu, Nogaj, & Kleinow are recovering from injury I believe but will be full go this summer.

JGJ is flexible obviously. Just depends on how that top 5 shakes out.
Where is bolton?

Lanning thinks the oline will be better than last year. I'll take his word

It is pretty tough. Should be good for the team to get a week 4 game with Akron though before a couple of really tough road conference games.

You have a problem with repeating yourself.

I have already said, today, I trust KF's OL evaluations.

See this is where you come off as either a troll or the world's biggest homer. Obviously in hindsight it was a mistake for KF to not go after them but you won't admit it because you will never say anything bad about him

Our non-con is pretty easy, but the Big 12 is brutal as usual.

SDSU lost some NFL talent but will probably be pretty decent. Iowa is going to be solid as always. Dont know anything about Akron.

Are you expecting 3-0 in the non con?

How can you say its a mistake already? Those guys are like halfway through their college careers? They wouldnt have even sniffed the field at Iowa yet.

Just because they got on the field early at ISU because the OL was depleted ahead of them doesnt mean they were a miss for Iowa.
