Hesse listed as starter. Kind of a big point of contention. KF recognizes leadership of upperclassmen. Hesse is a solid player but AJE will be a first round draft pick, he's a good kid though and understands that even though he's not listed as starter he'll be in there most of the time. Kid is a beast

Hesse isn't that good so I'm guessing it's a work ethic thing. Kid has the tools obviously if he can put it all together and buy in

I know there's a lot of trolling going on so I'll probably regret this, but I got curious about the PFF rankings between Lima and Epinesa.

Looks like Epinesa had a score of 77.1 and Lima had a score of 77.3.

Obviously both very good players that do very different things.

I'm guessing Lima played 5x as many snaps

Epinesa was a true freshman..Lima redshirt sophomore...Just something to consider. Lima is very good by the way.

I think he's around 280 right now. I'd say he stays at DE.

He reminded me of David (forget his last name now but with cowboys now) and when he went pro he was seen as a DT. 3-4s have really forced lineman to think run first and rush second. Unless they are third down specialists.

True, but this was Lima's first year out of JUCO so it wasn't like he was in the program for a couple years. They're both very good, but also very different players.

How big is espensa? Would he move inside if he goes pro? Seems the pros pure pass rushers are more linebackers.

No, Phil Parker was asked about that this spring. He actually said Hesse would could slide inside to get Epenesa on the field more.
