I didn't see this posted. I never thought I'd take Saban's side in something, but I really don't understand what LeBron's beef is here. He didn't invent the idea of talking in a barber shop.

He's right, there is only 1 crime scene investigation TV show, 1 fix a house on a budget show, and 1 decorate a cake show. To have more than one of those would be illegal. I'm sure it's illegal to have a second barber shop talk show.

I didn't think this was about the actual show in the coffee shop but more of the logo Saban used. My understanding was Lebron was taking issue with Saban's logo saying it was infringing on a copyright Lebron had for his logo.

Lebron is the best basketball player, and very possibly the best athlete in the world. He's also an insufferable DB.

The best part of that entire link was the Coming to America clip. That barbershop scene is an absolute classic.

Yeah this. It is not the idea of talking in a barber shop it is the name, logo and execution of the show all appear to just mimic Lebron's show. I would do the same thing Lebron did. Get them to change the name and the logo and it is a win.

The same thing happened to a coffee shop client of mine. My client had a coffee shop in ames with a certain name. There happened to be a Canadian radio show with the same name and they accidently found his facebook page. Sent his a cease and desist order for trademark infringment, so he changed the coffee shop name.
