He's not going to Iowa or Iowa State. Actually I heard Fran's refusal to recruit grad transfers is a big reason because he wants to play with top talent
I know I was just passing along what I heard. What's Kakert's excuse today for why Fran hasn't contacted Mooney?
Too much effort goes into the "vetting" process. It's much easier to scour Iowa, E. Nebraska and local AAU programs to locate loyal Hok fans who have sons that play basketball. It's the equivalent of backwater inbreeding.

Fran would actually have to recruit Mooney. That takes time and effort. If you aren't from the state and didn't grow up as a lifelong Hawk fan, then Fran would be forced to get off the couch and recruit the kid.
Dude we've tried telling you for a long time he's not a good coach. You would have saved yourself some embarrassment if you would have came to terms with it last off season and not just now
Hopefully by paying him. If Cook netted a few G's to play for Fran, I could maybe begin to understand that career move.
