Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

You on HN:

"I've seen a lot of graduate transfers on Twitter releasing schools that have contacted them and haven't seen us listed once. Why do I have a fear we're not going to get the guard we have to have and why aren't we getting in on these kids yet?"

"If Fran doesn't think we need a transfer guard or doesn't want to play the transfer game he can't be fired soon enough. That's ridiculous and any impact guard will see he has ample playing time here with how poor our guards are."

"The only potential hurdle I can think of is a graduate transfer will probably want to go somewhere where he thinks he can play in the NCAA Tournament but you have to be able to pitch to him that he's the difference maker to get you there."

"At some point Fran needs to win these recruiting battles or we need to find someone else who will. The excuses people make for him and his shortcomings in recruiting are insane. We're in a great spot to bring in a graduate transfer guard and if we don't that's a huge fail for Fran."

"I just don't get it. It's like he's not even attempting to get one."

You on CF:

"I'm starting to wonder if Fran will even try in the grad transfer market since he never has before"

"I mean does Fran even try in transfer recruiting? I can only think of one transfer he recruited and he missed on him"

"Lol seriously how is Iowa not even contacting this kid? I'm not sure I've seen someone lazier on the recruiting trail than Fran and his staff"

"It's going to cost him his job IMO. You can't just ignore transfers like he does when he's not a good HS recruiter"

One problem with that being a cyclone troll. ISU guys want Fran to stay. No way we would be calling for his head, we want to buyout increased. A troll would be backing Fran hard.

Lol the top one is supposedly me? Whoever posted that is way too all over the place to be me. That was tough to read

So Hok fans are assuming any criticism on HN is a Cyclone fan posing and growing descent in the fan base rather than stating the obvious flaws in their staff's recruiting strategy?
Obvious Hok fans wouldn't question the Fran recruiting process. Barta mixes some strong Kool-Aid in EIU.
