Who are the LBs they're targeting? I think I read that the plan for Jack is to play DE but I could be wrong. Either way the kid loved Doyle so it would've been a tough flip given him being an Iowa fan and the S&C program.

I think he probably noticed an unrecruited 2* LB from his neck of the woods that Doyle helped turn into a consensus all american and upcoming draft pick. Results speak for themselves. Good thing we're paying to keep him, best S&C coach in the country. Worth every penny. And now is helping us land recruits. Good for in-state kids to get huge opportunities like this.

The combine uses the bench to determine strength not me so obviously they think it's important enough to test. I think squats and cleans are the two most important in football actually but I'm sure Jewell would test poorly on those too after seeing him struggle with the bench
