Cook is a poor defender but Bohannon is way worse. When you're a great shooter in high school and nobody recruits you because you're that terrible defensively that says a lot
His brother says people should be grateful to watch him play.

Bohannon was arguably the worst defender in all of college basketball while Talley was a plus defender too
Talley was not a plus defender this past season.

Did you even watch him play down the stretch?
I probably watched half the games from the point he entered the starting lineup through the loss in KC.
His D Rating was in the 110's.

Look at the non con games Talley missed and how he could have padded his stats against these cupcakes and UNI
Northern Illinois
Iowa
Alcorn State
UNI
Maryland Eastern Shore
I love that the past 2 pages have been a discussion of a guy that could be 7th or 8th in the rotation next year.
Not a knock on Talley..shows ISU should be very good next year.
Not likely, he wasnt doing much the first 6 non con games before the injury.
He was really good the first couple of games and then I think that's when he got hurt IIRC
@CyTwins said he was a plus defender and I disagreed.
It was a joke that went over your head apparently.
Hard to say anyone on ISU was a plus defender last year at least as far as team defense goes and that is even more the case for Iowa.
Also, I wouldn't cite individual defensive ratings as some definitive proof of how good a player is on defense. It will likely tell you that one is good at getting steals and blocks and defense rebounds but not much else. There is much more that goes into being a good defensive player than those numbers.
Why does the conversation always revert back to a comparison to Iowa for pretty much any Clone fan on this site?
