Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

I can see how it got confusing, he edited his post.

He bolded my top 100 comment and listed those 4 that I responded about earlier. Now he changed it to Top 150...that rascal.

How many top 150 players has Prohm got since he's been here? Fran has 3 in the last 5 years and I could go back further but I'm not going to ding him for not counting Uthoff like you'll ding Prohm and not count Shayok

Jury is still out.

Fran inherited a mess and made 3 NCAA tourneys in a row. Prohm created a mess and needs to dig himself out of it.

Hoiberg had one foot out of the door and wouldn't guarantee to new recruits that he'd be there, which created a mess for Prohm.

Fran is in year 9 of a program and long removed from Lick to keep going back to blaming Lick for everything.

I think I counted 6? Does that sound right?

THT, Griffin, Lewis, Lard, Long (gone) and Wigginton.

3 years of Uthoff > 1 year of Shayok

Have nearly every recruit (decent one st least) literally fallen into frans lap? And saying decent is generous.

6 in 3 years compared to 3 in 5 years. Interesting that you think it's close lol

Again, the same number of Top 100 kids. Connor was at 152 and one of those 6 isnt even with ISU anymore and never contributed anything in 2 seasons there.

Fran put together some terrible classes in 2014 and 2015 but lets not act like Prohm is blowing him out of the water the last couple of years.

He is though. He has twice as many top 150 players than Fran in the last 3 years and you could add one more if Haliburton gets a 247 bump which wouldn't surprise me in the final rankings

When do those come out?

Haliburton is currently at #165 as of 3/12/18. My guess is based on his latest surge he'll crack the top 150.
