What seed would ISU need to be to get placed in DM? Top 4 seed?
I’m not sure of the exact rules of seeding and placement, but I thought there might be something against a lower seeded team having a homecourt advantage over a higher seeded team in the first 2 rounds.

I think that's accurate. You can go ahead and pencil in Kansas for a spot already.
Tulsa is also hosting the first and second round so that could actually help Iowa State.
I went two years ago and honestly I would rather watch from home. Even though you are at the game you are pretty removed from all of the other action. Iowa State playing the same day as the Des Moines games also made things kind of a pain. The tickets they are releasing now are all on the ends and those are terrible seats at Wells Fargo Arena. After going 2 years ago, I'm a hard pass for next year. Sure, it would be awesome if Iowa State played in Des Moines but I think it will be a really long shot.
I’m not paying to watch the hoks be a #1 overall seed.
Fyi…just grabbed 4 tix a few minutes ago. Lower level must be sold-out as “mid-level” was best I could grab. (co-worker ordered about 10:40 and was still able to get lower).

Looks like the mid level is now splitting the tickets up too. If you ask for 4, mine showed up as 2,1,1. Logged out, tried again, and it was 3,1.
I wish Tulsa was just a little bit farther away from Lawrence than it is. Toss up on whether they'd end up in DM or Tulsa. KU fans paid a pretty good penny for my tickets last time.
I feel pretty good Kansas will end up in Des Moines. There are probably more southern teams that will end up in Tulsa, leaving Kansas to go north.
Knowing our luck Kansas will be the 2 seed and get Des Moines, Iowa will be a 10 seed and play Kansas in Des Moines and we'll be a 5 and get shipped to Spokane or something
