Wow Pitt is going to be horrid next year. I mean they already were this year but it’s going to be even worse somehow

It might not be a bad thing. It’s even worse coming in to a situation where the team is bad and you have a full roster of bad players. This way someone can come in and offer playing time to good freshman and built a team.

I bet we go after the top transfers that have two years or three left.

Presuming the staff are comfortable with the talent of Shayok and Jacobson (and all indications are they are) My guess is we either grab another HS player (Harris?) or hold the scholly for a mid-term transfer.

However, if the staff are worried about holes in the rotation, what about grabbing a JUCO? Jackson worked out pretty good to step in an contribute right away. I can see a few of the uncommitted JUCO guys doing the same.

Wendell Mitchell's 247 Bio seems to indicate that he is looking to NOT return to the Big 12 (left Baylor after freshman year), but Jordan Brangers decision to not attend Colorado State (do you blame him) might open the door (hew was originally a Texas Tech recruit out of HS).

I am also very intrigued by Mohamad Thiam. A 6'8" kid that can hit the 3 and great FT%. He is from Marshalltown CC. I gotta believe we have at least looked at him.

Any thoughts on whether Reid Travis of Stanford will grad transfer after their NIT run is done? I believe he was granted a Medical Hardship waiver after only playing 8 games his sophomore season due to shoulder injury(s) so he has a year of eligibility remaining. For those who don't remember, he was a highly rated Minnesota kid.

6-8, 240 - 19.6 p 8.7 r this year.

How is Ivan Aurrecoechea still uncommitted? You would think one of the programs around here would have snatched him up by now.

Just looked back at the Juco top 100 for 2011. The best ever

Anthony Hubbard Ranked #14
Tyrus McGee ranked #15

Um that kid is the one that spend like 2 year in prison for robbery. Committed to Iowa and got to campus and left right away. Meanwhile Tyrus McGee destroyed it.

Hopefully if he does transfer and we're interested his shoulders healed completely. Our roster is in good enough shape next year we don't need to risk a scholy on someone who is plagued by the injury bug.

That was his sophomore year. He has since played as a RS sophomore and a RS junior without issue as far as I know.

He avgd 20 and 9 last year, in 34 minutes. I think he's good to go. And a take by any school in the nation.

I would like the staff to take a look at Shane Gatling from Indian Hills. A 6'4 Sharpshooter that plays both Guard spots. Would be a perfect shooter off the bench that could spell all 3 peremiter spots.

Played at Niagara as a freshman.
